We are thrilled to welcome Chelan Harkin as an honorary member of the Poetry Cooperative. Chelan has been making a mark on the world poetry stage with her debut collections.

Mystical poetry has been flowing through Chelan for years though her publishing journey is quite new. Her life, inner and outer, has transformed since putting her books, Susceptible to Light and Let Us Dance! The Stumble and Whirl with The Beloved, into the world. She is 33 years old and lives in a beautiful part of the Northwest US with her husband and their two young children. In her poetry and in her life, Chelan continually invites the fumbling, suffering parts of our human nature along with our divinity to meet for tea in the heart, to have a great laugh and share a big hug.

Many aspiring poets dream about publishing their own collection one day but don’t know where to start. We’ve created a practical way to show you how it’s done. In a ten-week zoom course (90 minutes a week) you will co-author (with me! :D) and publish a book with an experienced poet, learn all the steps toward publishing and marketing your book and get filled up with all the encouragement and support you need so you can go out and do it for yourself! It took me more than ten years to publish my book because I didn’t know where to begin and felt paralyzed with insecurity and overwhelm. I want this process to be worlds smoother for you.
