Accidents happen, some leave their marks,

wounds unseen, Thoughts lingering in the dark.

This one took a toll, a heavy weight to bear,

Fragments of my memory scattered, lost in the air.

 

I remember when i got out the hospital,

Every night when i closed my eyes, all i could wonder,

was it a dream? Did it really happen?

it didnt feel real thats what i told myself

 

Did this accident change me?

it feels like it has,

a weight dropped on my foot,

a blur of the past.

I search for laughter, the light that use to shine so bright,

yet every smile feels so distant, like it’s no longer mine.

In the silence I ponder, who i am?

The person i seemed like she fading.
