Smile – Luke Clerkin

He took a picture of her

The door way acted as a frame

The lights above flickered

So much that he could use it as a flash

She smiled the kinda smile that would even make the Mona Lisa cry

The couple at the back of the room in awe

At the sight of her

He remembers why he fell in love

Each time she does it

And each time he feels like it’s ever lasting

But deep down he knows each smile could be her last

The last one that he sees
